For 17 years, the Fulton Street Artisans Market has been a marketplace for Michigan artists & makers to come together, sell their goods, and share their passions with each other and the local Grand Rapids community.
Founded by the artists back in 2005, the mission of the Artisans Market was to give local community members an opportunity to not only buy handmade goods & artwork, but to interact and learn about the creative processes involved. It also serves as a hub for West Michigan artists to network & build relationships with other talented & passionate people. |

Melissa Spitler
FSAM Coordinator For Melissa, the Fulton Street Artisans Market is a family affair. Most Sundays, her husband and two kids help out. Her son was just two years old during his first season, back before the Market had a roof and electricity! Outside of crafting and her office job, Melissa enjoys cats, music, books, and all things Disney! Her goal is to make the Artisans Market a fun, friendly, family environment for both shoppers and vendors. |
